Description

The 2014-20 framework of rules and regulations intended to elevate programme management from the “financial” form to a richer “performance” management style. As a reflection of this, controls and audits were meant to shift away from mere financial and output checks, towards a more results-based measurement of success. But how much of this has really happened in our verifications and certifications so far?  Are programme and project managers really focused on making sure money is spent on what really matters?

Management Verifications in 2021-27 updates you on the latest developments in verifications and certifications of the ESIF, EMFAF, ISF, AMIF, BMVI and the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) for 2021-27. The new concept of risk-based management verifications takes a central role in the functioning of the internal control systems of MAs and IBs. However, we will also deliver insight into the errors which still prevail, the controls which are working and those which are not, the state of public procurement and anti-fraud measures, the simplification measures, financial instruments and the monitoring of indicators, amongst other.
